Arthur the Acorn Acorns.. those precious little seeds covented by squirrels the world over. But did you know... That the oak tree is America's National Tree? Yes.. it is! And in Germany, the oak tree is considered sacred and the acorn (the seed of the oak) is considered a symbol of good luck! The oak signifies courage and power - standing strong and proud through the ages. Hmm.. You've no doubt heard the ole' proverb : "from little acorns come mighty oaks." Yes, a tiny seed that produces the mighty oak, reminds us that great results can be born of humble beginnings.
