Chi Chi Kitty Redesign/Update Chi Chi was the first patterns I shared with you on my blog all those years ago.. I apparently made the project page on R in 2009, but I actually designed the pattern in 2008... so it's OLD! And in much need of a 'makeover'... Which is exactly what I've done - There are 2 Head/Body Versions (one that Head & Body are made separately and then joined together and the original version which was all one piece.. no sewing.. yeah!) After securing all pieces - embroider Eyes and Nose spaced evenly within the facial area of the Head. Add ribbon/yarn around neck area or create the optional Bow below. BOW: (Optional - Make 1) with Pool (not listed in Materials), Chain 6, ___ Rnd 1: sc in 2nd ch from hook, sc in ea of nxt 3 sts, 3 sc in end ch st - turn piece to allow you to work up the other side of original beg chain (as if a flat round), sc in ea of nxt 3 sts, Inc in last st (12 sts) ___ Rnd 2: [(sc, DC, ch-1, DC, sc) in nxt st, sc in nxt st, slst in nxt st, sc in nxt st, (sc, DC, ch-1, DC, sc) in nxt st, slst in nxt st] twice Finish off, leaving sufficient tail remaining to not only wrap around the center of the 'bow', but to also secure Bow to Body just below the Head.
