Courtesy Pattern : CP70 - Daughter Claus Infinity Scarf

CROCHET PATTERN

Daughter Claus Infinity Scarf

My youngest is always looking for something new and unique to show off at school. So this year, I made some Christmas themed accessories for her.
Sadly, she was not available to model for photos. Senior life, especially when you're involved with clubs, councils and activities, not to mention the day to day grind of work and social life.. I am just lucky to catch her for a few minutes at dinnertime.
ahhh to be a teenager again!!

but her sister was kind enough to stand in, so I could share the pattern with my Doodlers...

A project that works up very quick for that last minute festive touch to add a bit of homemade flair to your holiday wardrobe.

✦⋆✦⋆✦⋆✦⋆✦⋆✦⋆✦⋆✦⋆✦⋆✦⋆✦⋆✦⋆✦⋆✦⋆✦⋆✦⋆✦⋆✦⋆✦⋆✦⋆✦⋆✦⋆✦

Skill Level: Advanced Beginner/Intermediate

Measurements: 15.5 inches wide - flat/ 6 inches tall/ 33.5 inch diameter (approx.)
Size: Adult - One Size fits Most
Gauge:  12 rows of 12 single crochet = 3 inches/squared (H Hook)
Yardage:  Main Color: less than 7oz/364yrds, Accent Colors: less than 4oz/202yrds

Materials Used in Model:
Red Heart® WW 4-Ply Yarn in 0360 Cherry Red and 0311 White
Size US H/8-5.00mm Crochet Hook
Tapestry/Yarn Needle for sewing/weaving in tails
Wire Bristle Brush or old Hairbrush

✦⋆✦⋆✦⋆✦⋆✦⋆✦⋆✦⋆✦⋆✦⋆✦⋆✦⋆✦⋆✦⋆✦⋆✦⋆✦⋆✦⋆✦⋆✦⋆✦⋆✦⋆✦⋆✦

General Notes:
This pattern is worked in joined rounds, with an UNCOUNTED, loose ch-1 at the beginning of each Rnd, unless otherwise noted.  This is my preferred method in creating Double Crochet rounds without gaps - however, you may use your preferred method - just insure your count matches mine for the end of each round.
This pattern utilizes standard US Crochet Terms and has been designed by a right handed crocheter.
Any changes in materials to this pattern, (hook size/yarn weight) will not produce the measurements above.

Special Stitches:
- This pattern utilizes a Front Post Double Crochet (FpDC) to create the texture in this cap.  You can find a tutorial on how to work the FpDC here: Beyond Basic Stitches - Front Post
- This pattern also utilizes Loop Stitches (LpSt) to create a fuzzy look.  You can find a tutorial on how to make the Loop Stitch here: Beyond Basic Stitches - Loop Stitch
- Recommended that you wait until the final step before cutting loops and brushing out yarn to create the finished look.
