Earth Day 2011

For anyone who didn't already know, today is Earth Day!  

Yeah, I know, day's half over - but we can make Earth Day last as long as we want right?

Plant something green today - this weekend - this month!  Plant a tree, plant a flower.. get your hands in the soil and get dirty for a few hours - you can always clean up later.  Most importantly, plant an idea - take care of our planet, it's the only home we have. :o)

This year is sad for me as I was not able to volunteer as I usually do.  But we (the family and I) went to a local park - garbage bags in tow, and cleaned up all the trash and debris we could find.
