Using either slipstitches, surface crochet or embroidery techniques create a “stripe” of red on one side of your ribbon and “blue” opposite, leaving a small amount of white showing to create a ‘border’.

Extended Single Crochet is just like working a double crochet, except you do NOT yarn-over prior to entering the stitch. Enter stitch, yarn over, bring through one loop on hook, yarn over, bring through both loops on hook.
