- esc (Extended Single Crochet) : Insert your hook into st, YarnOver and pull up a loop, YarnOver and pull through one loop, YarnOver and pull through remaining two loops

With Cherry Red, and working from wrong side of Blanket, join around the post of any st before the ch-1 sp, Bobble Stitch in ea ch-1 sp by chaining 3, working Bobble Stitch, then anchoring the bobble by slsting around the next post.
Use your finger to push Bobble Stitch inside out so that it puckers on the right side of the Blanket.

Edging: Starting in any st, work (5DC in nxt st, skp ea of nxt 2 sts, slst in nxt st, skp ea of nxt 2 sts) around, join with slst.
Secure and weave in any loose tails.

PUPIL(Make 2) 
with Coffee,
Chain 3, slst in 2nd ch from hook, 5 sc in end ch st, slst into first st made to finish off.
Leave sufficient tail remaining to secure Pupil to Eye Color.


EYELID(Make 2) 
with Warm Brown,
___ Rnd 1: Using either the [ch 2, begin work in 2nd st from hook] or [magic circle] method to begin project, 6 sc in st  (6 sts)
___ Rnd 2: [Inc in nxt st] 6 times  (12 sts)
___ Rnd 3: [sc in nxt st, Inc in nxt st] 6 times  (18 sts)

___ Rnd 6/ROW: Squeeze front and back pieces flat together - working through both thicknesses (4 lps total) sc across, closing the opening for a count of 10 sc.  (If you lose a stitch and only can make 9 sc across, this is fine also - just make sure that the opening is stitched closed.)
Finish off, leaving sufficient tail remaining to secure Eyelid above completed Eye on Head.

FINISHING 
with white, add your "icing" to the wrists of the Arms and to top of Head. by joining in any st with a slst and working directly INTO your piece.  Icing is accomplished by working slst, ch-2, loosely in ea st around the area.
