Re-Release: K.I.S.S. - Silly Ole Bear

A Silly ole' Bear - K.I.S.S. Style and he is BACK!
There have been many requests for the easily customizable 'familiar' looking bear from the K.I.S.S. Series.  Finally, I have begun to rework the patterns as not to infringe upon any trademark characters. The K.I.S.S. Silly ole' Bear was the first to get his make-over.

The  K.I.S.S. Silly Ole Bear contains 9 pages of pattern instructions, with detail oriented photographs and instructions for both the 'new' version and colors/changes for the tribute item.

Those who already ordered the  K.I.S.S. Silly ole' Bear, you are not losing out!  You can contact me via eMail at fiberdoodles [at] gmail [dot] com with your original purchase date and email address, and I will gladly send you out this version of the pattern.  (NOTE: Aside from removal of the trademark colors of the popular character, there is no significant change from the original pattern.)

Order your copy of the K.I.S.S. Silly Ole Bear today and customize him for your little bear lover in your life.

This make me very happy, thank you!
Gotta finish wht I have on the hook but I can see these give to an organization that help troubled small people. There isn't a rule against that is there? Just want to do the right thing.

Hi Connie,
I am glad you like the *new* version.
No, Disney has not given me any grief at all :) I was wrong to use the colors I did, plain and simple. People often say "bully" whatever; NO! When a someone creates, visualizes and markets an item - who am I to take their hard work and imagination? Who could ever thought that a little black mouse could become an industry as well as a household name?

I pride myself on creating original items - I do not need to steal/borrow from other's creativity to design.
I feel good about the KISS Bear, there was never a need to make him 'look' familiar; he looks absolutely adorable no matter what color scheme is used. The model, in these *new* colors, looks like a polar bear; and was sold, even before he was sewn together for the photo shoot.

What does the K.I.S.S stand for?

Hi Sara,
K.I.S.S. has many meanings to many people. When I was in Media Arts it was "Keep It Simple Stupid". However, my K.I.S.S. as it relates to my crochet works is "Keeping It Simple & Straightforward".
The K.I.S.S. Series was designed to be just that, Simple and Straightforward.

Hi Connie,
I was never really on FaceBook (and twitter) - I set up sites, but truthfully, I never maintained it - just didn't have enough time to update the blog, Facebook, design and take care of the million other things on a daily basis. I recently asked the question, "which do you prefer?" and currently, it looks like the blog is the favorite. (Please let me know if you feel differently..)
